I was first introduced to Pilates at the age of 14. During a ballet class, my teacher noticed that I had developed Scoliosis (curvature of the spine). I was given a series of Pilates exercises which helped to correct the muscle imbalance caused by scoliosis and increased the strength in my back and core abdominals to support my spine. In turn, Pilates helped me further my ballet training to a professional level, giving me great awareness of my own body and keeping me free from injury.

I qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2007 and since then have been teaching at health clubs and studios across Berkshire, offering classes from Beginners to an advanced
Level. I am registered with The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) and am keen to broaden my knowledge by attending regular workshops and training courses. It is very important to me to further my skills as a Pilates Instructor, to teach to a high standard.

I am very passionate about the Pilates method and I hope to pass this enthusiasm on to my class members. It is so enjoyable for me to witness the progress of my class and very rewarding to know that I am helping to improve their well-being and make a difference to their every day lives. I endeavour to share the benefits of Pilates with my class in a way that is enjoyable to all!
